All Presidential Scholars and the Distinguished Teachers they designated who support the mission of the Academy of Presidential Scholars are eligible to be members. Later, Presidential Scholars and Distinguished Teachers who are Academy members in good standing will be able to nominate Invited Members to join the Academy as well. If you want to help grow and shape the Academy, just participate. You’ll get not only a way to develop and use your abilities to do good and the rare opportunity to be part of the start of a national academy, you’ll get a full suite of business collaboration tools to help you. Dues aren’t required. But since our shoestring budget limits what we can do, if you can chip in to defray some costs, a donation will help. Any amount is appreciated, and $25 or more is encouraging. It might be fun to consider a symbolic gift related to numbers in your Scholar year, such as $27 for 2007 or $84 for 1984, to help the Academy afford all its upcoming offerings.
