Academy of Presidential Scholars
Serving our Communities, our Country, and Humanity
Who We Are
President Lyndon B. Johnson created the United States Presidential Scholars Program to reward high academic achievement and to encourage high achievers to serve their communities, their country, and humanity. The Academy of Presidential Scholars was formed to bring President Johnson’s intent to fuller fruition through synergies of Presidential Scholars–and others whom they may invite–working together with the power of an organization to support their efforts.
What We Do
We facilitate sharing of Presidential Scholars’ expertise and talents amongst themselves and for the wider world to serve the greater good. Specific ideas and projects come from United States Presidential Scholars, Distinguished Teachers, and other invited members of the Academy.

In this time of COVID-19, we would like to offer you a personal email address @uspresidentialscholars.org to enable you to use the Academy of Presidential Scholars suite of integrated apps to un-distance socially and to collaborate with Academy members, partners, and other friends to serve the common good.
Please use the Contact Us form at the bottom of the page to tell us:
1. Your name, year, and state when selected as a U.S. Presidential Scholar, or for your student if you are a Distinguished Teacher;
2. Your preferred username, if it’s available;
3. Your current email address to send the new credentials.
Creating these email addresses is currently a manual process for us, so please be patient . . . and/or hit us up if you can volunteer to help automate.
The Academy’s apps for communication, collaboration, productivity, cloud storage, and more have enterprise-level security and comply with applicable GDPR, HIPAA, FERPA, and CCPA privacy regulations with encryption, no scanning, and no ads. Students, educators and others may already be expert users of apps for classroom and distance learning that may be helpful for mentoring or offering to tutor, as well as for offering to share your own expertise.
